Part II: KD Enterprises Mobile Application (Field Operations)
The KD Enterprises Mobile App is an enterprise workforce management and field operations terminal deployed to authorized staff (field operatives, security personnel, project supervisors, and operations managers). This section explicitly details mobile-specific data governance and hardware permission usage in compliance with Android and iOS app store standards.
A. Precise Geofencing & Periodic GPS Breadcrumb Trails
The mobile application requires continuous, high-accuracy Location permissions (Foreground & Background) solely for operational duty tracking:
- Geofence Verification (20m Tolerance): When taking attendance (Punch In / Punch Out), the app captures high-precision GPS coordinates to verify that the employee is physically present within the strict 20-meter geofenced perimeter of the assigned client site or facility.
- On-Duty Periodic Breadcrumb Trails: While an operative is actively on-duty (between a valid Punch In and Punch Out), the app periodically records GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, speed, heading, and accuracy) at regular intervals. This enables enterprise dispatchers and managers to visualize live patrol routes, calculate field distance (km), and coordinate emergency assistance.
- Shift-Bound Lifecycle (Strict Privacy Guarantee): GPS breadcrumb streaming is strictly tied to an active work shift. Tracking automatically ceases immediately upon Punch Out. The app does NOT monitor, record, or transmit location telemetry during off-duty hours.
B. Camera Access & Facial Punch Capture
The application requests access to your device's camera for the following single purpose:
- Attendance Verification Selfies: Operatives capture a real-time face verification photo upon Punch In and Punch Out to prevent proxy punching or buddy attendance. Captured images are transmitted securely over TLS/HTTPS directly to the enterprise database and are only accessible by authorized HR and operations managers. Images are never used for commercial advertising or public profiling.
C. Device Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint & Face Unlock)
Users may optionally enable biometric authentication to securely unlock the mobile application. All biometric matching (fingerprint or face scan) is processed natively on the user's device via standard secure hardware enclaves (Android BiometricPrompt / iOS LocalAuthentication). K.D Enterprises never receives, stores, or transmits raw biometric identifiers or fingerprints on external servers.
D. Device Identifiers & Secure Local Storage
To ensure authorized device integrity and enable offline capabilities, the app stores cryptographic bearer session tokens, local project site configurations, and offline draft logs in encrypted device storage (Flutter Secure Storage / Encrypted SharedPreferences). Device model and OS version are collected exclusively for diagnostics and security audits.
4. Shift Controls & Early Departure Notifications
To enforce workplace safety and operational compliance, the mobile application validates active shift duration (e.g. minimum 4 hours). If an early departure is initiated, the operative's stated justification and timestamp are transmitted to the Enterprise Owner and Operations Manager via internal push alerts for administrative approval.
5. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Access to operative data is compartmentalized according to strict organizational roles:
- Field Operatives: Can exclusively access their own attendance logs, assigned site details, and submitted leave requests.
- Operations Managers: Supervise only operatives stationed within the specific project sites assigned to that manager.
- Enterprise Owner / Superadmin: Maintains executive oversight, audit log registers, and administrative approval rights.
Part III: Data Security, Retention & User Rights
1. Enterprise Data Security
All data in transit between the KD Enterprises Mobile App, web portals, and backend servers is encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS). Databases are safeguarded with strict server-side access controls, salted password hashing, and continuous audit trails.
2. No Third-Party Commercial Sale
We strictly adhere to zero-commercialization standards: K.D Enterprises does NOT sell, lease, or monetize user data, GPS trails, or biometric records to third-party advertisers, data brokers, or commercial marketing firms.
3. Data Retention & Account Decommissioning
Attendance logs and GPS breadcrumb records are retained for the statutory duration required by industrial employment, labor compliance, and client contractual terms. Upon an operative's formal separation or contract conclusion, administrative access is revoked, and archived telemetry is scrubbed in accordance with enterprise data retention schedules.
